What's up HPL crew! My name is Ty Rasmussen and I founded High Plains in late 2024. I currently serve as a federal agent and pilot for Air and Marine Operations- a small component of Customs and Border Protection. Additionally, I'm a United States Navy veteran, having served 4 years with an honorable discharge. Since I am a current law enforcement officer and a veteran I strive to support both first responders AND military veterans with this business. With that said, as I get this business off the ground I will be donating 15% of profits to Wounded Warriors Project and First Responders Foundation equally.
I hope and pray this business builds a culture of like-minded individuals who are God fearing and relentless in the pursuit of greatness; country folks with a work ethic through the roof, and most importantly a servant heart. Serve God. Serve your family. Serve your country/community. This embodies what High Plains is all about.
Coming from the front range of Colorado I named the business after the geographical area of where the high plains meet the mountains. The country western culture I grew up in and fell in love with is in my blood. It bred a patriotism that I know is shared with so many. High Plains hopes to build on that bond and create a tight knit community.
